Natural Foundations

Natural foundations is a social enterprise based in Essex, passionate about getting children outside to play. Studies have shown that playing outside regularly improves children’s health, confidence, risk-awareness, social skills and can also improve their ability to learn. In Scandinavia forest schools – taking the classroom outside – have become a normal part of a child’s schooling.

Our sessions run throughout the year in all weathers. Our weekly sessions are for all children and their parents/carers. We can run a range of activities for early years settings and primary schools and home schooling groups. Weekends are closed for private parties

Most dietary requirements can be catered for including vegan and gluten free diets.
